May 20th, 2026: This event was the culmination of a school year's worth of commitment; our committee worked tirelessly to make this year special with more fundraising, more events, and more connections to a community of cancer fighters. As the committee lead, I'm incredibly grateful for all of the volunteers, sponsors, survivors speakers, supervisors, and participants who made this possible. We didn't quite reach our goal, but we hit a new school record of $32,500! Every dollar raised goes toward the Canadian Cancer Society, where they fund cancer research and support for everyone who needs it.

April 14th, 2026: The Family Of Schools Conference brought every principal and vice principal of the HDSB together to learn and take action within the scope of environmental citizenship as school leaders. As one of the event's student panelists, I shared my experience and visions with each of these professionals, inspiring them to take action within their schools.

January 29th, 2026:  Learning for a Sustainable Future and Halton District School Board collaboratively launched an elementary school climate conference; Climate Innovators Forum: Powered by Curiosity & Creativity. 250 students across dozens of schools attended to gain inspiration for a climate action project. As a keynote speaker, I had the opportunity to share my experience with similar action projects, including the inquiry process, budget management, and long-term systems design that facilitates my Eco Club's consistent success.
